2018 Rotary Club Rose Sale Raises $7500 for the Hope House

On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, the Rotary Club of Lake Minnetonka and Excelsior presented the Open Hands Foundation with a check for $7,500.

The donation was the result of the 2018 Rose Sale conducted by the Rotary Club for the benefit of the Hope House and its commitment to help teens in crisis in the southwest metro area of the Twin Cities.

The beautiful flowers were distributed by the Rotarians on March 21 at The Commons Workspace in Excelsior.

Many thanks to the Rotarians for supporting the Hope House and its mission.  Great work and we appreciate all of you very much!

$20,000 raised for Hope House at the 2017 Open Hand Open!

What does it take to have a fun afternoon while doing good for others?  100 golfers, 25 volunteers, a fantastic venue, and a worthy cause.  Thanks to all of our sponsors, team and guests, we raised over $20,000 to support Hope House.  This money will allow 15 teens to receive emergency shelter, meals, counseling, medical support, and more to get them back into safe housing and a positive future.

Join us on June 11, 2018 at Bearpath Golf and Country Club for the Open Hands Open!

We thank our sponsors for their support!

Introducing Hope House

Introducing Hope House

We are excited to continue providing emergency services for youth in crisis in our same location.  In 2016, we made a positive impact on over 500 teens.  We have renamed the shelter, Hope House.  Many of you know this location as that name and we believe it reflects what we hope to provide every teen who enters the shelter.  Hope House will provide pathways for family reunification; housing stability and permanency; and independence and self sufficiency for youth and their families.
